The Vendée département launches a ground-breaking app dedicated to its cycle-path network
[28/10/2009]Vendée Vélo Mobile is the first smartphone application created to enable you to consult, at your fingertips, the entire cycle-path network of a French département .
When the 1000th kilometre of our cycle-path network was inaugurated on 23rd June 2012, the Vendée Vélo Mobile app was made available for downloading at the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
This app offers a very wide range of information, both practical and cultural. On it, you can look up, for example: the routes of the Vendée’s various cycle paths; places that rent out bicycles; many further useful services for cyclists; and points of interest for tourists.
Along with the app, don’t forget that you can also consult the more classic website, vendeevelo.vendee.fr, or the mobile website, vendeevelo.mobi.
