The Courant d’Huchet

Blessed with exceptional landscapes and remarkable flora and fauna, the Natural Reserve of Courant d’Huchet (an overflow of the Léon Lake) snakes its way down to the ocean through a luxurious forest tunnel to earn its name of “The Amazon of the Landes”.

NarbeburuThis outstanding location is a tourist spot steeped in history and traditions, and boasts habitats rich in biodiversity: in 1981 it earned the classification of ‘Natural Reserve’.  It can be explored on boats with local boatmen from Easter through to the end of September.
