A route into Europe
The French Velodyssey is part of ‘EuroVelo 1’, one of the 15 cycle routes on the EuroVelo network which connects many of the countries of Europe.
Velodyssey in figures
French Velodyssey crosses four regions and 10 departments of France. The French route currently described on this site is 1245 kms long. It will be progressively expanded, with new sections developed on greenways.
The English Velodyssey
Fancy broadening your horizons even further? French Velodyssey (La Vélodyssée) crosses the Channel by ferry between Roscoff and Plymouth to become “Velodyssey” in England, winding its way through the chocolate-box countryside of Devon on an unforgettable voyage of discovery.
