Bus travel between Nantes and Royan
During your visit to Nantes:
- Trams: bikes are allowed on board all day from Monday to Sunday in the summer, but at certain times in winter; boarding is allowed only via specially designated doors and up to a maximum of 2 bikes per access point. Bikes are carried free of charge.
- Buses and the Busway rapid transit line: bikes are not allowed.
Crossing the Saint-Nazaire BridgeLe franchissement du pont de Saint-Nazaire à vélo est déconseillé. Deux options pour faire la jonction entre Saint-Brevin-Les-Pins et Saint-Nazaire (ou vice versa) :
- Shuttle bus + Bike: Lila network - Line 17
No extra charge for bikes.
Number of classic bikes pitches: 8 maximum . Only folding trailers are accepted by the shuttle .
The bicycles are under your responsibility and will be secured by you.

- Taxis + Bike:
Taxis from Saint-Brevin and Saint-Nazaire are equipped with bike rack "classic".
Each taxi can carry 4 people and a maximum of 4 bikes.
Any request for transport of specific equipment (tandem, trailers, ... ) must be reported to them during your phone call.

Crossing the Ile de Ré Bridge
The bridge has a safe cycle path separated from traffic by a low concrete barrier.
In July and August, you can also take a specially equipped bus to Sablanceaux-Plage. Tickets cost €1.30. Buses leave from Place de Verdun in La Rochelle.
