There are various sources of information to help you prepare for your bike trip.

The Accueil Vélo accredited Tourist Offices are marked on the website route maps with a green pictogram.
Along the route, you’ll recognise them by the signs displaying the Accueil Vélo logo shown below.

Accueil Vélo tourist officesSo, what does ‘Accueil Vélo’ mean? Tourist Offices must:

- be located less than 5 km away from La Vélodyssée,
- provide cyclist-friendly services: bicycle parking facilities, a drinking water outlet and toilet facilities, repair kits, a cycle track route linking the Tourist Office to La Vélodyssée etc.
- provide useful information and advice on : local trails, the weather forecast, timetables for buses and trains which accept bikes, contact details for bike rentals and repairs, Accueil Vélo accredited accommodation addresses etc.
